In 2020, I quit my New York City finance job, packed up my Hyundai Kona, and began a two-year trek across the country.
Along the way, I realized that I valued enjoying my life more than grinding away at a 9 to 5 that was emotionally and physically draining me.
The journey was empowering. Despite taking out my own loans for college, holding jobs since I was 14, and having credit card debt, I learned how much money I actually needed to live.
That wasn’t the end. I also found communities with different financial mindsets. I absorbed knowledge from folks who knew how to build wealth during the most energetic years of their lives, negating the need to work until the traditional retirement age—and total exhaustion.
More importantly, they prioritized their relationships, traveling, and other experiences that made their lives fulfilling. I learned how to do this for my life: I make my money work FOR me and how I want to live.
As a financial coach, I want to empower others to do the same. Whether it’s eliminating debt, discovering the smartest ways to invest, or simply shifting mindsets to worry less about money, my job is to help you see what’s possible and ultimately live your dream life, too.
